Whoever you are while reading above lines you may have
pictured someone doing things right way
or you could have heard your internal voice saying yes or you could have felt a
sensation in your body, yes I have done it before. Some of you may also get all
the three sub-modalities. Sub-Modalities are the outcome
of your internal thought process. When I ask you “Define an ‘Orange’?
Some may see orange as a fruit or as colour, some may hear the word orange from
all sides or some may have felt the taste of orange. Yes that’s right. That is the Power of your thought.
We all
have polarities inside our head, i.e. we have two minds. You are a good
driver and by this I mean you can be driving a car or a bike or your body
while walking. Now, when you are driving how you come to know that it is the
right time to apply breaks. You may see some obstacles through your conscious mind,
yes that’s right. So, what you do now apply brake but do you press the pedal consciously
or you give yourself instruction that now take the clutch and then press the
break and release the accelerator. It all happens automatically. Yes you are
right, that’s the other mind that works together with your conscious mind. I will
term it as sub-Conscious mind, you may have your own terminology for it but the
point is it exists. Just like current to flow through a circuit you need a cell
having positive and negative terminal and you connect these ends to complete a
circuit and current starts flowing. But for constant flow of current you must
recharge your battery with positive charge. Negative charging will result in
complete disposal of body and no outcome can be obtained. This is how our mind
works too. You take a positive thought consciously and keep repeating it to
yourself by seeing pictures and hearing voices and feeling sensations and you
keep doing it repeatedly to make your sub-conscious believe that it is right.
This how your body knows when you have to apply breaks, you have to release the
accelerator first and then take clutch and press the brake pedal not fully but as much it is required because
you have to stop at certain point or you may have to dodge the traffic.
So what
you can do now is think of a time where you have planned something and have
implemented it successfully. So, the
picture that you see is it the same size that you have seen the orange earlier
or is it a movie that is going on. What happens if you make this picture bigger
and brighter, do you feel more certain that you can repeat it again for other
plans too? How about making this picture more colourful and seeing that picture
hung in your office or your home and your friends and colleagues are appreciating
your achievements and as you are smiling now you can hear all the words clearly
and feel the sensation of self-confidence that you have now in your body. What will you do with this confidence, what changes will this bring into your lifestyle? So you can change the world around you with the new powered thoughts.
Your body
now knows how it feels when you are full of confidence and how you can just
bring back the same feelings where you are full of confidence and you are bang
on target for what all you want to do. You have done it before and have
repeated the same thing few seconds back and you have also enjoyed the feelings
and you can repeat this activity several time in future to imbibe it with your
daily process.
